I love everything that has to do with the process of writing, from crafting my own tales, to plotting with my critique partners, and yes, editing and proofreading. I get giddy over finding typos no one else has spotted, and I love seeing a manuscript come into its own. As a writer myself, I understand the importance of maintaining an author's style in a gentle manner that won't edit the writer's voice completely out of it.
I started out just proofreading, but found that I simply could not NOT comment on the story so the early clients I proofed for got an extra bang for their buck. Now I proofread and content edit altogether for the same price. I just can't help myself.
As a linear thinker, I work on one project at a time. Once I begin on your book, I can move through it rather quickly.
I stick to fiction and prefer PG13 content.
